I’m naming this blog, ‘The Purpose of Man’ because that is the name of the book I am currently reading and, this book, among MANY other events along the way has encouraged me to express my feelings with you guys. Currently, I am on a journey of learning how to express my thoughts through words and on paper.. so thanks for being a part of this journey with me!
I wanna talk to you guys about purpose and reason. I am a firm believer that you and I are supposed to learn from how things unravel in our lives. To me, there is no such thing as coincidence. I am beginning to realize how important it is to learn from ourselves. Whether it’s as significant as moving to a new town or as inessential as interacting with a stranger. Whatever the situation – I dare you to question everything and look for purpose and meaning. This way, we develop an understanding of ourselves and our lives.. because simply living without reason and passion is not enough.
To put this into perspective – next time an unexpected situation presents itself, ask yourself how this can affect your life in a positive light. Sometimes it’s not the situation we should focus on, but what we can learn from it.
Many of us go through the motions of our daily lives, forgetting our purpose. We all have a purpose on this Earth. Think about it, if we’re only here for a limited amount of time, do you think we’re here to merely exist? There are so many ways in which we can inspire others, help others and shape this world simply by shaping ourselves. We should focus on how we treat ourselves, how we treat others and how we treat this beautiful world that we live in. Everyone we meet, we make an impact on. Think about how important that is. Do you ever realize that ONE thing you say to someone may stick with them forever? There are plenty of words strangers have spoke to me that I will never forget. Think about how amazing that is. We have the power of inspiration. All we have to do is open our eyes and allow the intent of God to fill us. He will show us the way.
Interpreting ourselves constantly can be very overwhelming and tiresome at times. However, I truly believe we feel a sudden breath of fresh-air and an awareness presents itself that was not attainable before.
Questioning our motive, our beliefs and the things we do, will help us become the best version of ourselves. Always being aware of how we affect others is where I began this journey. Thanks for reading and subscribe to my blog so that we can share ideas!
Much love,
The Gypsea
